Cycling 4 Health

Cycling 4 Health is our innovative programmes of supported cycling activities for those in need of a little bit of additional help to get in the saddle.

Over the last 3 years, we have run Cycling 4 Health programmes in Duffield, Heanor (Shipley Country Park) and Long Eaton (West Park Leisure Centre) in Derbyshire.

We have successfully worked in partnership with doctor's surgeries, NHS Referral schemes, obesity programmes, mental mealth and disability support groups, and homeless support groups to deliver supported programmes of Cycle Training, maintenance workshops, Bike Rides and Bike loans.

We have enabled over 150 people with a range of health issues to get cycling, some for the very first time!
