Active Travel Challenge

Over the last 2 years, we have run the Active Travel Challenge across the county of Derbyshire. Teams from organisations and groups competed to see who could get the most people to run, walk and cycle in a month, and win prizes!

In 2010/11, over 800 people participated in the Challenge.

In 2011, 16752 Miles were travelled, 1183699 Calories were burnt off, and 5712.59kg of Co2 saved.

84% of those who participated said that they intended to walk, run or cycle more often in the future.
