Derbyshire Communities

Choose Cycling works in partnership with NHS Derbyshire County, Erewash Borough Council, Derbyshire County Council and Sustrans through the Heart and Sole Group to promote walking and cycling in the Amber Valley and Erewash districts of Derbyshire.

Current activities include:

1. Production of the first ever Ilkeston Cycle Map. This will be launched and distributed in Spring 2012.

2. A partnership with West Park Leisure Centre in Long Eaton. We will be installing permanent cycle storage at the Leisure Centre in March 2012.

We are pleased to announce that there will be a new programme of cycling activities at West Park for 2012, delivered by West Park. Full details soon. The programme will include hire of bikes and equipment.
