Traffic-free route Derby - Duffield
A local group is lobbying for a new cycle route offroad along the A6 between Derby and Duffield. This is a much needed direct cycling route that will go a long way to ease congestion on this busy commuting route into Derby and give locals somewhere safe to cycle. Help make Milford a safer place to live
The community of Milford is divided by the very busy A6 which often sees dangerously high traffic speeds. Milford Primary School and the Milford and Makeney community group are campaigning to make their community safer, including reducing traffic speeds through the village to 30mph, with a 20mph zone by the school, and introducing additional pedestrian crossings.
