Help improve Amber Valley and Erewash Cycle Routes

Choose Cycling are working with other organisations, including Derbyshire County Council, to develop local cycle strategies in Amber Valley and Erewash. The aim is to review existing cycle routes, identify main cycle flows and problem areas and develop improvements to provide a local network within towns, between towns and to the longer distance cycle routes.

If you would like to help improve local cycle routes, please complete the questionnaire below and send it back to us - to info@choosecycling.co.uk. We will share this information with all relevant groups/ organisations.

Erewash Valley Trail Consultation

Funding has been found to develop a traffic-free Trail, called the Erewash Valley Trail, along the Erewash and Nottingham Canals. This will open up an attractive green corridor along the canals and create a circular off-road route that is perfect for walking and cycling. It will run between Long Eaton and Eastwood/ Langley Mill. See Map below.

If you would like to comment on this route, especially any part of the route you feel may particularly need improvement and comments about improving access to the route, please email Andy Raynor at Derbyshire County PCT - Andrew.Raynor@derbyshirecountypct.nhs.uk
