    We are pleased to announce the first ever cycle map of the Ilkeston area in Derbyshire. This free, full colour map gives you all the information you need to know to cycle safely and confidently around Ilkeston. Try out some fabulous traffic-free canal paths!

    The Derbyshire Active Travel Challenge is back for 2011. Last year, 463 people from 23 organisations joined in. This year, we'd like to make it bigger and better with 1000 people taking part. All you have to do is walk, cycle or run, log your journeys online, and you could win prizes for taking part! Join the fun at www.activetravelchallenge.org.uk!

    Choose Cycling have received funding from Erewash LSP to produce Cycle Maps of the Ilkeston area.

    The Peak District National Park Authority have received funding from Cycling England to create a new route between Matlock and Buxton railway stations. According to the authority's Richard Campen, this could "[...] create both a spectacular cycling route and a realistic alternative to the car, enabling more people to make healthy choices for themselves and for the environment", For more information, please see here.
